Eligibility is restricted to Jewish Orthodox communities and operations in England and Wales; it does not accept unsolicited applications, requiring referrals through established networks like synagogues or welfare officers, with proof of hardship or affiliation. No specific entity types or income thresholds are mandated, though it prefers smaller linked groups over large charities.

Grants typically range from £1,000–£8,000 for individuals and £2,500–£25,000 for organisations, awarded via quarterly trustee meetings (March, June, September, December) without fixed deadlines—prompt for emergencies. It excludes general community projects, unrestricted funding, non-burial activities, or support outside its beneficiary group, uniquely distinguishing it as a specialist in Orthodox Jewish burial welfare rather than broad philanthropy.
