Typical grants range £250,000–£500,000 over three years for project costs, core funding, or capacity building. Exclusions include animal welfare, arts, environment, and religious promotion; its scale, regional focus, founder-driven health emphasis, and shift to fewer, larger strategic grants set it apart for charities seeking transformative regional impact.
