Radley Foundation

The Radley Foundation, established in 2000 by former Radley College Warden Richard Morgan, is a dedicated endowment fund solely supporting Radley College, an independent boys' school in Oxfordshire, England. Its core mission is to secure the school's long-term sustainability, excellence, and accessibility by providing means-tested financial assistance, aspiring to allocate 20% of fee income as bursaries so talented boys from any financial background can access a transformative education aligned with founder Sewell’s vision of opportunity without barriers.

It funds a narrow but impactful range of programmes exclusively benefiting current or prospective Radley pupils, including full/partial bursaries (up to 100% of fees, £47,895–£50,895 annually), honorary scholarships/exhibitions in academics, art, drama, music, sport, and innovation, plus memorial funds like the Silk Fund for disadvantaged boys, Armed Forces Fund for bereaved families, Richard Morgan Award, and Greater China Scholarship. Support also covers transformative trips, extracurriculars (e.g., music, cricket), academic enrichment, and hardship grants, all directed through school leadership to address critical needs.

Eligibility is strictly limited to families of boys applying to or attending Radley College—no external charities or organisations qualify, and unsolicited applications are not accepted. Families submit via online forms with references, portfolios (where required), and financial statements; international candidates are welcome for specific scholarships. Next deadlines: Innovation/Sport Scholarships by 1 October 2025 (portfolios/assessments follow), others by 14 November 2025.
