Funded activities focus on essential educational enablers: non-repayable grants covering course fees, study equipment like computers, internet access for remote learning, essential materials, childcare costs during tutorials, travel to study sessions, and other direct barriers to academic participation. Interventions target student retention, preventing dropout from undergraduate or postgraduate programs, addressing financial insecurity, study isolation, and resource gaps in distance education, while promoting widening participation, educational equity, confidence-building through qualifications, employability gains, and resilience for underserved adults in higher education.
