Leigh Trust

Leigh Trust is a non-profit charitable company limited by guarantee, dedicated exclusively to advancing primary education in the West Midlands, UK. Operating a family of seven primary academies in Birmingham and surrounding areas, it serves over 3,800 children and employs around 550 staff. Established as a multi-academy trust, its mission centers on fostering a collaborative network of schools that deliver educational excellence, community engagement, and continuous improvement. Guided by values of inclusivity, ambition, staff well-being, and high-quality teaching, the Trust emphasizes research-informed practices, character development aligned with international standards, diminishing attainment gaps, and seamless primary-to-secondary transitions.
