Jingle Jam

Jingle Jam is a UK-registered charity (no. 1200061) founded in 2011 by Yogscast creators Lewis Brindley and Simon Lane as a Christmas gaming fundraiser, evolving into an annual event that harnesses the gaming community, digital creators, and online audiences to raise funds for children and young people. Its mission centers on catalyzing positive change through four priorities: inclusion for neurodivergent, disabled, LGBT+, and diverse youth; improving physical and mental health; supporting those impacted by global adversity like poverty, conflict, disasters, or epidemics; and advancing climate action and animal welfare for a sustainable future. It funds scalable research, direct services, advocacy, campaigns, and capacity-building with partners like CALM (suicide prevention), War Child (conflict-affected children), and Autistica (autism research), prioritizing evidence-based, systemic interventions for broad impact.

Eligible applicants are exclusively UK-registered charities (invite-only, no unsolicited applications) delivering UK-wide, multi-region UK, USA-wide, or global programs, with a strong preference for medium-to-large organizations capable of national or international scale; small, local, or grassroots groups receive very limited support. No geographic base restrictions apply, but beneficiaries must be children and young people.

Grants typically range from £100,000 to £500,000, awarded annually to 8-12 selected partners after the December 1-14 fundraising campaign, with selection finalized in advance via internal research on thematic fit, donor alignment, and campaign potential—no open deadlines or application process exist. Jingle Jam stands out for its volunteer-driven, low-overhead model (over £27.5 million raised since inception), digital-first collaboration with game publishers and creators, and unwavering transparency, excluding capital, emergency, or non-scalable projects while favoring multi-year strategic partnerships.
