International Orthodontics Foundation

IOF funds project-based research grants (Young: up to USD 15,000/year for 2 years; Elite: up to USD 30,000/year for 2 years; Clinical: up to USD 100,000 over 2 years, extendable), professional development, symposia, and initiatives enhancing clinical practice, oral health in underserved areas, and cross-border knowledge transfer. Priorities include innovative translational research, education elevation, and direct patient care, supporting both institutions and individuals across career stages.

Eligible applicants include UK-registered charities and academic institutions (universities, hospitals, research centers), with no geographic, income, or size restrictions—global applications welcomed. Submit unsolicited proposals via online portal (opens July, closes 31 October 2024 annually; awards spring 2025). No expressions of interest needed.

IOF excludes core costs, overheads, or non-orthodontic activities, distinguishing itself through its global vision, expert governance, innovation focus, and strategic integration of research, education, and networks to drive clinical standards in developed and developing contexts.
