Funding is restricted to activities in Kensington & Chelsea, Camden, East Sussex, and Kent (or national orgs working there). The phased online process starts with an eligibility quiz, followed by Expression of Interest (EoI), then full application; rolling submissions are reviewed quarterly (Jan, Apr, Jul, Oct meetings), with decisions in weeks and full process up to six months.

Grants are flexible—unrestricted core costs, project/revenue/capital, seed funding—typically ranging from a few thousand to tens of thousands of pounds, with occasional larger strategic awards. Distinctive for its personal family involvement, bespoke advice/networks, and dual portfolio of small grassroots grants and high-impact bets, it avoids non-local or non-aligned work, standing out as a strategic equity funder for social justice in specified locales.
