Eligible applicants are qualifying individuals or dependants only; organisations are not funded unless applying directly on their behalf. No income thresholds, religious restrictions, or prior donor ties apply, with a focus strictly on England and Wales' legal profession. Typical grants range from £250–£15,000, reflecting need and resources. Applications via downloadable online form with supporting documents (e.g., tax returns) are welcomed unsolicited on a rolling basis, reviewed confidentially by a monthly (or urgent) committee, often within weeks—no fees or deadlines required.
